Plywood Sculptures

Using a cheap and versatile base material, we will construct... something. Ideas?

I have long wanted to build a large threshold, a sort of door frame with nothing in the center except an occasional observer. I had originally conceived this structure being built of metal, but that is not required by any means.

The plywood could take on a more abstract form of a threshold? Maybe instead its large shrapnel — angular, intersecting itself and adjacent to other pieces, to create some kind of central/occupiable space.

I like that idea, but I wonder if we have the same image in mind. Would probably be best to make some drawings and compare. Generally I think clutter and connection/intersection seem advisable for this project.
